沿革
- 大正2年3月
- 松本茂八、現本社所在地にて松本茂八商店を設立、鉄鋼二次製品を主体の鉄鋼問屋を開業。
（昭和8年、店主没後、株式会社組織として経営し、終戦とともに昭和20年解散）
増田由五郎商店、東京都墨田区厩橋にて創業、磨棒鋼およびその他一般材料の販売を行う。 - 昭和14年5月
- 株式会社松本茂八商店、磨棒鋼製造工場として株式会社興和製作所を創立。
- 昭和15年10月
- 合名会社増田由五郎商店、有限会社増田特殊伸鋼所を設立。
- 昭和21年8月
- 株式会社興和製作所の商号を松本鋼業株式会社と変更し、本社を現在地とする。
- 昭和30～33年
- 有限会社増田特殊伸鋼所、合名会社増田由五郎商店、株式会社に改組。
- 昭和37年11月
